The Atlas Lion, a majestic creature always roaming the mountains of Morocco, is facing a precarious future. Territory loss due to are atlas lions extinct human encroachment and unsustainable agricultural practices has severely decreased their numbers. Hunting, both legal and illegal, adds another layer of threat to their already fragile existence.
